About me
Ever since I was a very young child, my favorite thing to do has been to sink into a good book. Sink into it until you believe that you live in this book, with these characters, in this place. I love books that can get you there.
As an adult, I am lucky enough not only to have two delightful young sons to read to and read with (one 5 and one 3) but I also work in children’s literature, particularly with Jewish children’s books. My passions in children’s books are multiple: I love early chapter books, beautiful picture books and YA stories. I love Jewish books and secular ones. And while I’ll very often refer to great Jewish children’s books in this blog because that is what I know best of all, I hope there will often be something in here for everyone.
If you want to write to me, you can contact me at dreamyreads at gmail.com.
Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the great review of “A Sack Full of Feathers”!! I was hunting around for my web site when I came across it. What a nice surprise. I have another picture book coming out next year, set in the same town (illustrated by the same artist), also based on a folk tale and published by Orca. It’s called “Clever Rachel,” and I hope you’ll like it!
Sincerely,
